「体重圧」を分散し、背筋の「S字カーブ」を補助する局面形状などの特許技術を保有。芝浦工業大学と
の共同研究により科学的に裏付けられた「不快感を与えない座り心地」を追求しています。
②「メイド・イン・サカド」の誇り：
埼玉県坂戸市の自社工場にてフレームの溶接からクッションの成形、組み立てまで一貫して行っています。
見えない内部構造にこそ、妥協のない日本の職人技が宿っています。
③環境と人への思いやり：
2024年には有機溶剤を使用しない製造技法を確立。使う人だけではなく、作る人と環境にも優しいモノづくりを実践しています。
＜「座布団を二つ折りにしたい」60年の歴史と、発明の物語＞
ヤマザキの歴史は、お客様の「困った」を解決するための葛藤の歴史でもあります。
1963年の創業当時、私たちは畳業を営んでいました。しかし、量に直に座ればお尻が痛くなる。
当時の座椅子は、ただ「畳める」だけの不十分なものでした。
「座布団のような快適さを、そのまま座椅子にできないか」
1974年、初代社長が投げかけたこの無理難題ともいえるリクエストが、現在の「クッション座椅子」の原点となりました。
当時の家具業界では誰も成し遂げていなかった「厚みのある快適さ」と「自由な角度調整」の両立。
この挑戦こそが、私たちのDNAです。
私たちは今、座椅子のパイオニアとして、座椅子を「単なる補助椅子」から「一日の疲れを癒す機能家具」へと進化させました。
