2. About physical stores and showrooms
The main sales channels for our products are online shops and catalogue sales.
This product is only available at one physical store in Tokyo.
Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to see the actual product before purchasing.
If you have any concerns or worries about the fact that opinions vary by individual and include subjective evaluations, please consider carefully before making a purchase.
3. Returns and Exchanges
■We do not accept returns or exchanges except for cases of incorrect products or damaged or soiled products.

4. Product Repairs
For repairs, please contact the store where you purchased the product.
If the item you are requesting repairs is within the warranty period, the repair will be free of charge.
If the product is outside the warranty period, all repairs will be subject to a fee.

When sending us an item for repair, please remove as much dirt, hair, pet hair, stains, dirt, food stains, etc. from the side fabric cover (both front and back) as possible.

5. Product Warranty
We guarantee the products sold by our company and our business partners in accordance with the following regulations.
■The warranty period is less than one year from the date of purchase.
■If the product is less than one year old and repairs are made for the first time only, we will cover the repair costs (free of charge).
■The customer is responsible for the shipping costs to and from our company for items requested for repair.
■For items to be repaired, please be sure to send them to us with postage prepaid.
■We cannot accept repair requests that are sent cash on delivery. (The item will be returned to you by the delivery company.)
■Even if it has been less than one year since purchase, all repairs from the second time onwards will be at the customer's expense (chargeable).
■If the purchase date cannot be confirmed, the product will not be considered within the warranty period.
■In principle, products that have been used will be repaired.
■If a material or structural defect occurs during the product warranty period despite normal use in accordance with the instruction manual, etc., we will repair it free of charge under this warranty.

2. About the "sagging" of cushioning material (urethane foam)
The degree of sagging of the urethane foam used in our products varies depending on the user's physical build, frequency of use, and other conditions of use, but generally, after one to two years of use, it is thought that the foam will begin to feel sagging compared to when it was first used. However, if a large (heavy) person uses the product or if the product is used frequently, the foam may begin to feel sagging within one year, or even as early as one month. In addition, the evaluation of a product in which the foam has become sagging due to use varies depending on the user. In some cases, the foam can still be used without any problems even if it has changed in condition one to two years after use. All of the urethane foam used in our products is made in Japan, and we regularly measure the physical properties and check the quality, but we cannot give a general answer regarding the degree of sagging, as the characteristics of the material mean that the degree of sagging varies depending on the usage conditions and the user.

3. Durability of the pipe frame structure with reclining function
The durability of the pipe frame structure with reclining function is confirmed through testing according to our own standards as well as necessary tests conducted by a third-party testing agency, such as static load strength tests with a standard value of 1000N (approximately 100kg) and impact load tests on the backrest.
However, if a load or impact load exceeding the standard value of 1000N (approximately 100kg) is applied for any reason during use, the steel pipe or reclining parts will deform or break, resulting in a malfunction that will cause the product to not function properly. (Examples: Using the product without realizing that only one of the two reclining gears on the left and right is locked. Leaning back on the backrest with more force than expected after sitting on it. Rocking back and forth like a seesaw, etc.)
These are the causes of the malfunction that we were able to determine by checking the item requested for repair.
Furthermore, failure of the pipe frame structure with reclining function will occur regardless of how often the reclining function is operated or how often the product is used.
We have confirmed through destructive testing and monitoring that there is almost no possibility of deformation of the pipe frame structure or damage to the reclining parts during normal use while following the precautions in the instruction manual.
If you continue to use the chair in a manner other than the normal use described above, metal fatigue may occur in the welds between the pipe frame and the reclining parts, resulting in damage.
4. Durability of bead cushions
The beads in the filling are made of a powdered material (polystyrene) inflated with a foaming agent.
It will inevitably wear out with use.
The degree to which the product wears out varies greatly depending on usage, so we cannot give general answers regarding durability.
Our bead cushions are designed so that the beads inside can be replenished.
When the beads in the filling become worn out, add additional refill beads available at the store.

5. Replacement beads
We are very sorry, but we do not sell refill beads. If you search for "refill beads" on the Internet, you will find shops where you can purchase the product. The amount and method of refilling are also introduced. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please try searching. The beads used in "Mirabeads Rest Cushion Tron" and "Mirabeads Smartphone & Game Armrest Cushion Mine" are "Polystyrene foam beads (5mm)". We recommend "5mm" beads as refill beads. 6. Bead quality
The beads used in our products have been given a confirmation certificate that has been issued after inspection and compliance with the regulated values for food containers for over 20 items (including cadmium powder and volatile substances) that are subject to national restrictions.
About the product smell
1. Urethane foam products: Causes of "odor"
In rare cases, you may notice an unpleasant smell when you open the product. This smell is mainly the smell of the urethane foam used as the cushioning material (the smell of chemical products).
Urethane foam is made by foaming a synthetic polymer (polyurethane resin) using carbon dioxide gas or a low-boiling point gas.
Resin itself is inherently odorless, but small amounts of catalysts, foam stabilizers, and, if necessary, pigments and flame retardants are added during manufacturing, and some of these may cause the "odor."
The main component of the "smell" of urethane foam is tertiary amines used as catalysts.
This is added at a concentration of 0.05 to 0.5% when manufacturing urethane foam, and most of it evaporates due to the heat during manufacturing, but some remains in the foam and may leave an "odor."
Normally, most of the "odor" that remains during the processing of raw materials and during the production of products evaporates and disappears, but in winter when the temperature is low, evaporative odors are more difficult to remove than in other seasons, so there is a high possibility that the odor will remain in the urethane foam.
If urethane foam still retaining this type of odor is used as cushioning in a product, after it is commercialized, placed in a plastic bag, and packed, the odor will remain inside and will be difficult to remove.
Nowadays, we have air conditioning and heating, and homes are airtight, so if you open a product in a heated room in winter, any remaining odor will evaporate at the same time, making it easier to detect.
In addition, in an airtight room, the smell will become trapped and will be difficult to eliminate.

Commercially available deodorizers will remove the odor from the surface fabric, but the "odor" of the urethane itself (the smell of chemical products) is likely to remain.

Regarding noise generated by the product
1. About the noise generated by the reclining gear
The reclining gear of the chair will make a clicking noise when you change the angle as the gear locks (excluding the infinitely adjustable reclining gear).
In addition, the reclining gear is made of metal and has some play and space necessary for it to function, so it may make noise when in use.
However, since sound perception varies from person to person, we cannot answer questions about how the sound will sound to you. Thank you for your understanding.
2. Regarding noise generated from the internal pipe frame
The internal pipe frame of the chair is fitted with PP bands to support the urethane foam cushioning material.
Normally, the internal pipe frame containing the PP bands and the urethane foam cushioning are glued together and cannot move.
However, if the adhesive between the PP band and the urethane foam comes apart for some reason, the PP band may be plucked like a guitar string and make noise when you sit on the chair or move your body after sitting on it.
Also, if the PP band becomes loose, noise may be generated when you sit on the chair or move your body after sitting on it due to friction with the pipe frame.
If the noise occurs when opening the product or using it immediately after unpacking it, it will not affect safety.
For reports of noise as a cause, if the product has just been opened and unpacked, we will exchange it for a new, inspected product, and if it has been 8 days since the product arrived, we will repair it.

3. About the noise generated by the rotating disk
It is designed to rotate using a built-in metal ball.
Due to the materials and structure, when you rotate the chair, the resin and metal balls will make a noise, but if you use it normally and follow the instructions in the instruction manual, there will be no problems with its strength.
About the color of the product
1. Product color
In the product introduction on the homepage, the images uploaded onto the internet are reproduced on the monitor of each user's "color display device" - a smartphone, PC, or other mobile device - and the colors are then checked by the human eye.
Colours will appear slightly different depending on the monitor's performance or the built-in video card.
We adjust the colors to minimize color differences caused by differences in monitors, but the color and texture of the image may look different from the actual product depending on the user's monitor environment.
Also, the color of the fabric may vary slightly depending on the production lot.
Please be aware of this.
2. Discoloration of cushioning material (urethane foam)
Flexible polyurethane foam discolors mainly due to ultraviolet rays.
The time it takes for it to be possible to determine that the surface of flexible polyurethane foam has discolored varies significantly depending on the influence of sunlight. For example, it can take a few hours when exposed to direct sunlight in summer, anywhere from a few weeks to a few months in a warehouse that is not exposed to direct sunlight, and it can take more than a year when packed in a dark place (stored in a light-shielded state).
This discoloration due to sunlight is thought to be due to some of the polymer chains in the polyurethane foam changing to a molecular structure that turns yellow.
Therefore, since it is different from the breakage of polymer chains, it is thought that the discoloration will not immediately lead to a deterioration in physical properties.
Fluorescent lighting can also cause discoloration.
In addition, flexible polyurethane foam can react with nitrogen oxides in the air, causing discoloration, but this is not thought to immediately lead to a deterioration in its physical properties.

Regarding size and fit
1. Are your products aimed at women? Will they fit men too?
Our product information page mainly uses photos of female models, but our products are not just aimed at women; men can also use them.
Except for products that come in a range of sizes corresponding to height, the sizes are set so that they can be used by men and women with heights between approximately 155cm and 180cm.
2. Are there sizes that are too small (too large) for my height? How does it fit around the waist? Also, is the seat hard (soft)?
Our products are sized so that they can be used by men and women with heights ranging from approximately 155cm to 180cm; however, people of the same height have different builds, and there will inevitably be individual differences in how the product feels when used, such as the size of the product, how it fits the body, and the hardness or softness of the cushioning material.

6. There is something like powder on the bead cushion
The filling beads are made by foaming and expanding a powdered transparent material at a set rate.
We use beads with a diameter of 1m or 5mm, but some of them are small, white powder-like particles that do not expand to the set size due to poor quality raw materials.
A bead cushion is a product that has these foamed beads filled into a fabric cover.
When filling the inner material with beads, beads (especially small ones) may adhere to the side fabric cover.
Any beads that adhere to the side fabric cover during the filling process are removed during production by blowing them off with air or using adhesive tape.
In addition, we remove them with adhesive tape during inspection before packaging.
However, there may be a small number of beads that have not been completely removed still attached.
Also, depending on the weave of the fabric, it may come out through the gaps.
These beads on the siding may look like powder.
In the above cases, we ask that you remove the stains using adhesive tape or a vacuum cleaner.
The beads used in our products are made in Japan and are made from materials that comply with the Food Sanitation Act and standards for food and additives, etc.
Although the white beads are small, they are in a foamed state and are unlikely to be inhaled.
Additionally, the beads will not rub against each other and turn into particles or powder when used.
How to use the chair
1. Can the backrest be reclined while sitting?
Products that use a 41-step reclining gear allow you to change the angle without having to return the backrest to horizontal first, so you can recline while remaining seated even if there is little space behind the chair.
However, in order to operate it smoothly and without any problems, you will need to make body movements such as changing your sitting position or holding onto the backrest with both hands, so it will take some time to get the hang of it.
Below we'll walk you through the steps:
* When tilting the backrest forward: 1) Return the leg rest below the knees to an angle that is horizontal or close to horizontal with the floor.
(For products without leg reclining, please start from ②.)
②Shift your hips forward and place them 15 to 20 cm away from the backrest (about the width of your outstretched palm).
③ Reach behind you with both hands and hold the left and right sides of the backrest at approximately the same height with each hand.
④ Move your body forward as if you are bowing, and use your hands to raise the backrest forward to the angle you want to use.
⑤ Check that both the left and right gears are securely locked in the same position, then sit with your hips back.
*When tilting the backrest backwards: 1) Return the leg rest below the knees to an angle that is horizontal or close to horizontal with the floor.
(For products without leg reclining, please start from ②.)
②Shift your hips forward and place them 15 to 20 cm away from the backrest (about the width of your outstretched palm).
③ Reach behind you with both hands and hold the left and right sides of the backrest at approximately the same height with each hand.
④ Move your body forward as if you are bowing, and with both hands, push the backrest forward until it releases the gear lock.
⑤When the left and right gears are released, it will move backwards.
⑥ When releasing the gear and leaning the bike backwards, do so slowly and smoothly so that it does not stop halfway. If you move it too fast, the gear may lock halfway.
7. Tilt the backrest back to your desired angle and then tilt it slightly forward from that position. You will hear a click as the gear locks.
⑧ Make sure that both left and right gears are securely locked in the same position, then sit with your hips back.

*If you have difficulty moving your body, such as changing your sitting position or holding onto the backrest with both hands, please do not force yourself and get off the chair to operate it.
* Regarding ③ and ④, they can be operated with one hand on chairs with low backrests.
2. If the chair is a swivel type, does the front part lift up and tip over when you sit with the backrest tilted back?
If you sit with the backrest tilted back too far, the front of the turntable may lift off and tip over.
Therefore, please check the following information in the "Caution!" section on the rotating product page.
*When using, please be careful not to let one side of the turntable rise above the floor.
Please be especially careful when the backrest is at an angle close to horizontal.
Using the product with one side of the turntable raised may cause damage to the product, scratches on the floor, or the equipment may tip over resulting in injury.
3. Is there a risk of injury from touching the gears?
The gears are built into the product so they do not come into direct contact with your body.
If you observe the following precautions listed in the "Precautions for Use" section of the instruction manual, you will not be injured by the gears.
- Do not place your hands or feet or stand or sit in the part of the seat that reclines with the gear.
There is a risk of injury. (See Figure B.)

4. I am planning to use it on a wooden floor, but I am worried that it may scratch the floor.
Our zaisu chairs have a pipe frame with a reclining function on the bottom (floor side) of the urethane foam base, as explained in the illustration on the product introduction page, and the whole is wrapped in a 2cm thick urethane sheet. (1.5cm for Japanese zaisu chairs with armrests and folding storage zaisu chairs)
It is mainly the gear parts of the reclining function that damage the floor surface, but all of our chairs are designed with a special plastic gear cover attached to the reclining gear section, with a cloth placed underneath it.
The machine is designed to prevent scratches on floors that the gears and pipe frame do not come into direct contact with, but if your floor is made of wood or tatami mats, we recommend that you use a rug or carpet to better protect the floor.
5. It says, "The head is a non-locking gear, and when you push it with your head it moves backwards." What does this mean?
The gear parts used in the infinitely adjustable head restraint are designed to stop by metal friction.
If you place your head on it in a relaxed position, it will not move with the friction you set, but if you press your head against it, a force greater than the friction you set will be applied, causing it to move backwards.
6. Can I use the armrests of a Japanese-style tatami chair to stand up?
Do not use the armrests as an aid to standing up.
The elbows on this product are designed to support the weight of your arms when resting on the armrests, but they are not designed to support the weight of your hands on the armrests and when you put your weight on them to help you stand up.
Storage of the chair
1. Can it be folded for storage?
If "folding and storing" means storing the chair with the front of the backrest touching the top of the seat, then most zaisu chairs cannot be folded for storage.

2. I want to know the smallest size when storing it.

3. Is it okay to store chairs stacked together?
It shouldn't be a problem for two or three days, but if weight or pressure is placed on any one part of the chair, or if you leave them stacked for a long period of time, the urethane foam cushioning may become deformed.
Stacking the chairs is not expected to damage the reclining function and you will be able to sit on them as normal, however, the comfort of sitting may change due to deformation of the urethane foam.

Depending on how you use the chair, the fabric cover may shift, but this is not a defect.
Below we will explain the causes of side fabric covers becoming uneven or shifted, as well as how to fix and prevent this.
First, we will explain the cause of the side fabric cover becoming uneven or shifted.
The fabric covers of typical zaisu chairs, including ours, are not integrated with the internal cushioning like car seats, and have a similar relationship to that of clothing and the human body.
Since it is not fixed all over, if force is continuously applied to the fabric cover of the chair that moves it in a certain direction, it will inevitably become "lopsided or shifted," just like with clothing.
In addition, the internal cushioning material, such as urethane foam, will inevitably sag and deform slightly with use, so it is not possible to completely prevent the fabric cover from shifting or becoming uneven, which can also occur with cushions and mattresses that have a similar structure to those used in zaisu chairs.

If the fabric cover becomes uneven or shifted, please lay the chair flat and move the fabric cover little by little to realign it, as described in the instruction manual included with the product.

3. ビーズの品質について
当社の製品に使用しているビーズは、２０項目以上（カドミウム粉や揮発性物質等）において国の制限が求められる含有物に対し、食品容器用として規制される数値を検査・遵守して発行される確認証明書を取得しています。
4.ビーズ商品：「におい」の原因について
お客様が商品を開封した際、まれに「におい」がする場合があります。
これは、おもに中材として使用しているビーズの「におい」です。
材料の中にスチレンモノマー及びごく少量のブタンが内包され、これらが混ざった「におい」です。
5.ビーズ商品：「におい」の消し方について
スチレンモノマー及びブタンはどちらも揮発性物質のため、5～10日程度（夏季は短く、冬季は長く）風通しの良い場所で日陰干ししていただくと、「におい」はほぼ無くなります。
直射日光にあてると、生地の変色の原因となりますのでご注意ください。
室内で早く「におい」を消したい場合には、十分に換気のできる場所で、扇風機の風を商品にあてる方法をおすすめします。
ただし、数値上のにおいが０になることはありません。
においの感じ方には個人差があるため、敏感な方には、不快に感じられる可能性があります。
予めご了承ください。
6.ビーズクッションに粉のようなものがついてます
中材のビーズは、粉状の透明な原料を設定した倍率で発泡し、膨らませています。
当社では、直径１mもしくは5mm設定のビーズを使用していますが、中には原料の状態が悪く、設定した大きさまで膨らまない、白い粉のような小さな粒のものも含まれています。
ビーズクッションは、この発泡したビーズを側地カバーに充填した商品です。
中材のビーズ充填作業のときに、側地カバーにビーズ（特に小さな粒）が付着する場合があります。
充填作業のときに側地カバーに付着したビーズは、生産時に空気で吹き飛ばす方法や粘着テープで除去します。 さらに、梱包前の検品時にも粘着テープで除去しています。
しかし、除去しきれなかったビーズが、わずかに付着している場合があります。
また、生地の編み目によっては、その隙間から出てくる場合もあります。
このような側地カバーに付着したビーズが、粉のように見える場合があります。
上記のような場合には、粘着テープや掃除機で除去していただけますようお願いを申し上げます。
なお、当社商品に使用しているビーズは、日本製であり、食品衛生法・食品、添加物等の規格基準に適合した材料です。
白く見えるビーズは、小さくても発泡された状態であり、呼吸により吸い込んでしまう可能性は低いと考えられます。
また、使用によりビーズ同士がこすれて粒子や粉になることはありません。
座椅子の使い方について
1. 背もたれは座ったままでリクライニングできますか
４１段階リクライニングギヤを使用している商品は、背もたれを一度水平まで戻さなくても角度を変えられるので、座椅子の後ろ側のスペースが狭くても、座ったままでリクライニング操作が可能です。
ただし、支障なく円滑に操作するためには、座る位置を変える、背もたれを両手で持つ等の体の動きが必要なので、コツをつかむ必要があります。
下記に順を追って、そのコツをご説明します。
＊背もたれの角度を前に立てる場合
①膝下の脚部リクライニングを床面と水平もしくは水平に近い角度まで戻します。
（脚部リクライニングが無い商品は②から始めてください。）
②お尻を前方にずらし、背もたれから１５～２０ｃｍ（手のひらを広げたくらい）離します。
③左右の手を後ろに回し、背もたれの左右側面のほぼ同じ高さを左右それぞれの手で持ちます。
④お辞儀をするように体を前に動かし、左右の手で背もたれを使いたい角度まで前に立てます。
⑤左右のギヤが同じ位置で確実にロックされていることを確認し、お尻を後方に戻して座ります。
＊背もたれの角度を後ろに倒す場合
①膝下の脚部リクライニングを床面と水平もしくは水平に近い角度まで戻します。
（脚部リクライニングが無い商品は②から始めてください。）
②お尻を前方にずらし、背もたれから１５～２０ｃｍ（手のひらを広げたくらい）離します。
③左右の手を後ろに回し、背もたれの左右側面のほぼ同じ高さを左右それぞれの手で持ちます。
④お辞儀をするように体を前に動かし、左右の手で背もたれをギヤのロックが解除する位置まで前に立てます。
⑤左右のギヤが解除されると、後方に動きます。
⑥ギヤを解除して後ろへ倒すときは、途中で止まらないように、ゆっくりスムースに操作してください。勢いよく操作すると、ギヤが途中でロックする場合があります。
⑦お好みの角度まで背もたれを後ろに倒し、その位置から少しだけ前に立てると、カチッと音がしてギヤがロックします。
⑧左右のギヤが同じ位置で確実にロックされていることを確認し、お尻を後方に戻して座ります。

2. 回転式の場合、背もたれを後ろへ倒して座ると前方が浮いてひっくりかえりませんか
背もたれを後ろへ倒し過ぎて座ると回転盤前方が浮いてひっくりかえる可能性があります。
そのため、回転式の製品ページの「ご注意！」には、下記の記載がありますのでご確認ください。
＊ご使用の際には、回転盤一方が床面から浮き上がらないようにご注意ください。
特に背もたれが水平に近い角度の場合には十分にご注意ください。
回転盤の一方が浮き上がった状態でご使用になると、商品の故障や床面のキズ、転倒してケガが器具の破損の原因になります。
3. ギヤ部に触れて怪我をすることはありませんか
ギヤ部は商品に内蔵されていますので、直接体に触れることはありません。
取扱説明書の「使用上の注意」に記載している下記の注意事項をお守りいただければ、ギヤ部でケガをすることはありません。
・ギヤでリクライニングする部分には手や足を入れたり、立ったり座ったりしないでください。
ケガをする恐れがあります。（図Ｂ参照）

4. フローリングで使用するつもりですが、床が傷ついてしまいそうで心配です
当社の座椅子は、商品紹介ページのイラストで説明しているベース部分のウレタンフォームの下側(床面側)にリクライニング機能付きパイプフレームがあり、それらの全体を２ｃｍ厚のウレタンシートで包んだ状態になっています。(お座敷和座椅子 肘掛け付きと折りたたみ収納座椅子は1,5ｃｍ)
床面を傷つけるのは主にリクライニング機能のギヤ部品ですが、当社のすべての座椅子は、リクライニングギヤ部にプラスチック製のギヤ専用カバーを装着し、その下にあて布を敷いた構造です。
ギヤ部やパイプフレームが直接には当たらない床面のキズが付きにくい構造になっていますが、床材がフローリングや畳の場合には、より確実に床面を保護するため、ジュータンやカーペット等の敷物を敷いてご使用いただくことをおすすめしています。
5. 「頭部はロックしないギヤで、頭で押すと後ろへ動く構造」とあるが、これはどういうことか
頭部に使用している無段階リクライニングのギヤ部品は、金属の摩擦力で止まる構造になっています。
リラックスして頭を乗せた状態であれば、設定した摩擦力で動きませんが、頭を押しつけると設定した摩擦力以上の力が加わり、後方へ動きます。
6. 「お座敷 和座椅子 肘掛け付き」は肘掛けを利用して立ち上がることはできるか
肘掛けを立ち上がりの補助具として使用するのはおやめください。
この商品の肘は、肘掛けに腕をおいて休むときの荷重には対応していますが、肘掛けに手をついて、ぐっと体重をかけ、立ち上りの補助として使用する荷重には対応していません。

「折り畳んで収納」というのが、背もたれ前面と座面上面を接触させて収納するというイメージであれば、ほとんどの座椅子は折り畳んで収納することはできません。

3. 座椅子を重ねて収納しても問題ないですか
２，３日であれば問題ないと思いますが、座椅子の一部分に重さや圧迫がかかる状態や長期間重ねた状態にしておくと、クッション材のウレタンフォームが変形する場合があります。
重ねておいてもリクライニング機能の故障は考えられず、通常使用で座ることはできますが、ウレタンフォームの変形によって、座り心地が変化する可能性があります。
